Maxine, better know as Captain Max, had the honor of being the first women captain in New York City. One day a light went off and Capt. Max traded dodging the tugs and barges of NYC for swimming with the fishes in St. Thomas.
Capt. Max sails from St. Thomas to the National Park in St. John or you might hit a deserted island. The sail across the sound is a highlight of the day. However, if you’re more of the exploratory type, you’ll also be able to take in some of the surrounding beaches and waters. You’ll also be able to swim in the warm Caribbean waters to your heart’s content and come back for a hot water shower to wash the salt off your arms and legs.
Charters are usually available for half and full day trips, giving you the chance to soak in all that St. Thomas has to offer without being interrupted by the clock. Let the sun be your guide. Guests also have the option of taking dinner and sunset cruises for that perfect romantic connection with a special someone. You also have the option of snorkeling expeditions and overnight trips to neighboring islands.
