Getting to St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.

St. Thomas is the primary airline hub in the Virgin Islands. Most national and international travel to and from the Virgin Island comes through the St. Thomas Cyril E. King Airport on the southern coast just outside of Charlotte Amalie. From there connecting flights will get you to other parts of the island.

An alternative option of getting to St. Thomas is by high-speed ferry. For connecting travel out of Puerto Rico a high-speed ferry can be taken to St. Thomas’ Charlotte Amalie. Ferries are also available for inter-island travel between St. Croix, St. John as well as a trip to and from the British Virgin Islands.

Outside air and boat travel less popular and not recommended travel options could include a very long swim or very wet taxi ride.
